OCAD students are enrolled in a dental plan through the Student Union, administered by Studentcare. We bill this plan directly, so you show your card and we submit the claim. You pay only the part your plan does not cover.

No coverage? You may qualify for the CDCP

If you do not have private or student dental insurance, you may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan. As of 2025, residents aged 18 to 64 can apply if your adjusted family net income is under $90,000, you have filed your most recent tax return, and you do not have access to other dental insurance, including coverage through a student organization.

Do you accept the OCAD Student Union dental plan?
Yes. We work with Studentcare, which administers the OCAD Student Union dental plan, and we bill it directly.
